SUPERVISED DRIVING

SUSPENSION & PROHIBITION

DRIVER IMPROVEMENT ACTIONS
![]() Drivers in any stage who are found at fault for a collision, or who receive traffic convictions, will be placed in the Graduated Driver’s Licensing Improvement Program: > If the first incident is a traffic conviction with a rating of two points or fewer, the driver will be sent a warning letter; > If the first incident is a traffic conviction with a rating of three points or more, or an at-fault collision, the driver will be required to attend an education/safety seminar; > Additional incidents, whether a traffic conviction or an at-fault collision, will result in the following: • 2nd – Defensive Driving Course • 3rd – Driver Improvement Training – educates drivers on responsibilities and consequences of driving and encourages safe driving habits • 4th – 30-day driver’s licence suspension • 5th – 90-day driver’s licence suspension • 6th – 180-day driver’s licence suspension • 7th or more – interview and further action
