GDL - Program Inventory
The GDL program inventory is organized according to jurisdiction. Each jurisdictional profile contains information about the standards and requirements for each stage of the GDL program that new drivers must complete in order to obtain a full, unrestricted passenger vehicle licence and/or motorcycle licence. GDL programs for drivers of passenger vehicles generally have 3 stages whereas GDL programs for motorcycle drivers have 4 stages. Program standards include: age restrictions; entry/exit requirements; supervisor restrictions; driving restrictions and conditions; and suspension and prohibition standards. Contact information for the agency administering the program is also contained in the profile.
A table that compares driver education regulations for passenger vehicles and motorcycles in each jurisdiction can be found here.
